Brave People with Crazy Jobs : Toreros and Bull fighting♣
Mittwoch, 1. September 2010 / 05:39
When I was younger, I watched some Corridas in France. I found it quite funny, because the men kept on annoying the bull. The Matador would hold a red piece of cloth, wait for the bull to run and then step aside to avoid getting run over. When the man was hit by a bull, some would just laugh. But I asked myself, if it does not hurt them. And what if the Toreros would get gored and injured very badly? Aren't they scared of that, too?
I think that Corridas are kind of idiotic, because all the Toreros do is risk their lives to entertain people. It's either the man who gets hurt, or the bull that gets killed. But we seem to enjoy watching Corridas. Exept for when accidents happen. Here is an example of one:
Julio Aparicio is a famous Matador in Spain. In his 20-year career he only had one accident. But last May 2010 in Madrid, he almost got killed. A bull threw him to the ground, and gored Julio's neck. The horn came out of his mouth again...
But after his operation and some rest, Aparicio came back in August, to fight other bulls again.
Okay, I know that this picture is disgusting... xP
But imagine somebody to continue doing something, even if he got hurt through it...
